MW9 2015
3-days of Machik Weekend Featured keynote speakers, interactive breakouts, panel discussions, exhibitions and entertainment. we were honored to host a diverse range of speakers and innovators who discussed solutions-oriented approaches in Tibet and other places. Our goal was to illuminate the value of resourceful and imaginative ideas and practices and their impact on communities at local and global levels. Through roundtables and informal discussions, participants shared experiences and learned about key issues such as education and social entrepreneurship in the project of social engagement in Tibet.
Machik Weekend is a singular gathering of diverse individuals with a common aspiration to engage for a stronger future for Tibet. It is a weekend of new encounters, discoveries and friendships that will challenge and reshape your assumptions about the possibilities for next steps for Tibet.
